Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Wednesday condoled with the family of Embakasi North MP James Gakuya, following the death of his brother David Gakuya.

The Deputy President in his message prayed for peace and comfort for the Gakuyas as they come to terms with the passing of their relative.

"I send my deepest sympathies to the family of the late David Gakuya Mwangi, brother of Hon. Gakuya Mwangi James, the MP for Embakasi North."

"May the Gakuya family find peace during this sad moment. We pray that the Almighty God Rest the soul of the departed In Eternal Peace," Gachagua said.

The DP who had visited their Marurui home, in Thome Estate, Nairobi also delivered President William Ruto's message of condolence to the family.

"Our President, H.E William Ruto sent his message of sympathy to the bereaved family, wishing them strength at this difficult time," he said on X.

On Tuesday, the Deputy President also condoled with former Narok Governor Samuel Ole Tunai, for the loss of his mother, Mama Annah Nolparokuo Tunai.

"The pain of losing a parent is immense. This evening, I condoled with former Narok Governor Samuel Ole Tunai and his family for the loss of his dear mother, Mama Annah Nolparokuo Tunai."

"We pray for God's grace and favour to be upon Hon Tunai and his family during this difficult time of grief. May the Soul of Mama Annah Tunai Rest in Eternal Peace," Gachagua said.
