The Kenya Meteorological Department has said that most parts of the country will be sunny and dry this week.
The department, however, said some areas may experience light to moderate rainfall including Central Highlands, the South-eastern lowlands and the Coast.
Kenya Met said there will be high average daytime temperatures exceeding 30°C in several counties.
The areas include Turkana, Samburu, Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Isiolo, Garissa, Tana River, Lamu, Kilifi, Mombasa, Kwale, Taita Taveta, Kajiado, Makueni, Kitui, Laikipia, Baringo, West Pokot, Bungoma, Kakamega, Busia, Vihiga and Narok.
According to the Kenya Meteorological Department, there will be low nighttime temperatures.
Average nighttime temperatures are expected to be low, dropping below 10°C, in certain parts of Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Murang’a, and Kirinyaga counties.
Kenya Met urged Kenyans to prepare for the varying weather conditions across the country.
