Online content creator Mungai Eve has broken her silence regarding her break up with ex-lover Director Trevor.

This comes hours after the content creator unveiled a new YouTube Channel.

Their break-up had been rumoured for some time by social media users but Trevor confirmed the split last month.

Speaking when she hosted fellow content creator Andrew Kibe, Eve further confirmed that Trevor and her are no longer an item.

In the interview aired on Saturday, Eve said many reasons contributed to their separation.

"I wouldn't want to talk much about it, but what I can say is, it's a whole lot of so many things. I knew it was coming. It was meant to come to an end," she said.

Andrew Kibe asked her, "I suspect you are the one who was cheating?"

Eve said, “You might be wrong or right.”

On February 19, Director Trevor announced their breakup and said Eve was no longer part of his production crew.

He rebranded the “Mungai Eve” YouTube channel to “Kenya Online Media” and said Eve's services "are no longer needed".

Trevor said her services would also not feature anywhere on their Insta Fame page and Facebook page.

While unveiling her new YouTube channel dubbed Mungai Eve Media, Eve said this marked the beginning of a new era.

"Get ready for a fresh start and a whole lot of inspiration! We are thrilled to unveil the revamped Mungai Eve, bursting with authentic storytelling, empowering messages, and a positive impact on your world," she said in a statement on her social media platforms.

She invited Kenyans to join her on the new journey saying it will be exciting as they explore the human experience, celebrate diversity and ignite positive change.

"At Mungai Eve, we've always strived to share captivating stories that resonate with your soul. Now, with a brand new look and feel, we're taking things a step further. We'll continue to curate engaging content but with an even greater focus on inspiring you to reach your full potential and empowering you to make a difference," she said.

"Buckle up, get ready to be inspired, and welcome to the new era of Mungai Eve!"

By Saturday, her YouTube channel had amassed 15,600 subscribers.

The Mungai Eve channel, now renamed Kenya Online Media, had over 750K subscribers by the time of their split.

The channel had over 2,353 video uploads since it was founded on January 2, 2020.

Trevor also rebranded the “Mungai Eve” Facebook page which had over 104K followers to Kenya Online Media.

Another channel that Trevor took over is Insta-Fame which had over 104,000 subscribers on YouTube.

Days after announcing the rebranding of the platforms, Trevor unveiled Rael Wangare to replace Eve.
