Every decision President William Ruto makes will succeed, American-Canadian televangelist Benny Hinn said in a prayer to the Head of State.

Hinn, renowned globally as both a pastor and an author of bestselling books, further said everything the President touches will prosper.

“There will be no more losses in Kenya,” Hinn said while praying for Ruto and First Lady Rachael at his crusade in Nyayo Stadium on Sunday.

The Israeli-born televangelist, citing the Biblical story of David said Kenya will recover from its losses.

“Total recovery will begin in this nation,” he told Ruto and the First Lady who were kneeling for the prayers.

In the Bible, David recovered everything the Amalekites had taken including his two wives.

In his prayer, Hinn said the President of Kenya and First Lady will recover all.

The weekend crusade marked Hinn’s second visit to Kenya in over two decades, following an invitation extended to him by the First Lady in September 2023.

On Saturday, the First Lady set the record straight on the source of funds used to sponsor the televangelist.

While addressing a congregation at the Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi, she stated that the crusade was entirely organised and funded by churches in Kenya.

The celebrated preacher went ahead to reveal he was surprised by the gesture of Mama Rachael, noting that he had received such an invitation for a long time.

Hinn hailed Kenyans for having an unmatched first lady. The preacher reminded Kenyans of an incredible first spouse they had in Mama Rachel.

The First Lady commended the event saying it is a blessing to have the televangelist in the country, since his coming united the religious leaders in Kenya.

"The oneness of the Body of Christ and the harmony witnessed today among our religious leaders and believers is divine."

On his part, President Ruto revealed that he first knew he was going to lead Kenya in 2006.

He said he received the revelation then during the Asuza 100 celebration of revival in the US.

"I will say this today here in Nyayo Stadium. That the first time I got a revelation that I was going to be President in Kenya is in 2006 and during the Asuza 100 Celebration of Revival in the US and I was there with my wife and many others," he said.
