The governor of that county is said to be irked by just how confident the officials are. He is now questioning the independence of that particular court that is due to decide amid serious claims of some behind-the-scenes negotiations over some form of settlement.

The man is accused of "protecting impunity" by abetting corruption allegedly orchestrated by some assembly officials. However, some of the MCAs have warned that they will proceed with the motion to teach the top assembly official some lessons.
