The University of Nairobi on February 7 hosted celebrations of the Chinese New Year of the Dragon at the Confucius Institute.
Themed 'The Dragon is Soaring and the Drums are Rolling for the Chinese New Year', featured cultural activities, fashion shows, traditional games and interactive sessions.
In attendance were UoN vice chancellor Prof Stephen Kiama, CIUON Prof Wang ShangXue, minister counsellor at the Chinese Embassy in Kenya Zhang Zhizhong, lecturers, exhibitors, artists and students.
