Jacque Maribe and Jowie Irungu have arrived in court ahead of their judgment today.

The judgment was scheduled for March 15 but following consent by parties, it was moved to February 9.

The judgment has been adjourned twice with the last time Maribe's advocate Katwa Kigen indicating to the court she was unwell.

Maribe was dressed in a yellow suit and a white top while Jowie was on a flowered shirt.

Maribe's parents were also in court.

Jowie is the first accused person in the murder trial of Monica.

He was charged alongside Jacque Maribe in 2018.

Monica’s body was found at her Lamuria Gardens Apartment which is located on Kitale Lane off Denis Pritt Road in Kilimani.

The prosecution called 35 witnesses who testified against the two.

Although they have denied knowing Monica or being involved in her death, assistant DPP Gikui Gichuki said the evidence they presented in court is sufficient to have them convicted.
