Embakasi residents are yet to come to terms with the results of a gas explosion that left a trail of destruction.

At least six people have died and more than 280 others were injured following the incident at Mradi area after a gas filling and storage plant caught fire.

Some victims are still undergoing treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital and Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral, and Research Hospital.

The government Spokesman Isaac Mwaura said patients are undergoing a variety of treatments, including wound care, dressing changes, pain management, and consultations with physiotherapists for rehabilitation.
