Polish President Andrzej Duda was on Monday was hosted by President William Ruto at the State House.

Duda arrived in the country Sunday night accompanied by his wife,  First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda

The pomp at the occasion was evident from the moment the Polish first couple arrived at State House, with a convoy flanked by tight security and police bikes leading the way.

President Duda's arrival before 10 am was met with a warm reception, where he was welcomed by President Ruto, First Lady Rachel Ruto, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Chief of Defence Forces General Francis Ogolla.

As a symbol of respect and recognition, the event began with the playing of both the Polish National Anthem and the Kenyan national anthem.
