State bets on irrigation to plug 700,000 tonne rice deficit

CS Njeru says government committed to ensure zero importation of rice by 2032 through putting more acreage under rice production

The government has committed to ensuring zero importation of rice by 2032 through the expansion of acreage under production of the staple crop across the country.
