Attacking midfielder Jane Hato has left Madira Soccer Assassins for former club Mathare United Women.
Hato, who was Assassins skipper, said she had it rough in deciding whether to return to Mathare, whom she has 'unfinished business with.'
“Leaving Madira was a tough call but I felt I had an unaccomplished mission with Mathare United Women's side,” Hato said, who helped Madira gain promotion to the Women's Premier League this season.
“I have achieved what I wanted with Assassins since they are now playing in the top league. I owe them nothing.”
“I have unfinished business with Mathare even though they are currently in the second tier,” she added.
Her mission is to help Mathare reclaim their Women's Premier League status, just like she did at Madira FC.
Meanwhile, Vihiga Queens have signed Emily Moranga from Nyakach Girls to replace Janet Moraa, who joined Yanga Princess in Tanzania.
Vivian Akinyi has also joined the Kenyan champions from Nyakach to fill the boots of Bather Omata, who joined Sethu FC in India.
Elsewhere, Gaspo chairman Edward Githua has dismissed transfer rumours linking Fanis Kwamboka with Bunda Queens of Tanzania.
“Those are just rumours. There is no agreement between Gaspo and Bunda Queens of Tanzania,” Githua said.
