Elsa Majimbo has confirmed breaking up with her DJ boyfriend Hkeem.
The content creator cited her boyfriend's lack of trust in her after an incident that occurred when she had gone for an interview.
She narrated the sequence of events that led to the breakup in a video via posted on her social handles.
"I flew to Miami because I was speaking at a panel conference, the first day I rested, the second day I was to speak, it came time to have my mic put up.
"I had a strapless day so we had to find a solution."
Majimbo said the idea to have the microphone attached to her underwear arose.
"The guy suggested that we could mic up my underwear. We go to a room and there I was thinking that he would leave me and let me mic myself up but he lifted my dress and put the mic on me."
She later called her boyfriend hoping he would support her and be mad at the incident, but he wasn't
"After the panel was done, I was angry I called my boyfriend and the first thing he said was 'maybe he felt you were flirting with him'."
"I told him I would hang up on him, and told him he would never see me, smell me nor hear from me again. True to my word he has never seen me again."
Elsa Majimbo introduced her mzungu lover to the world a year ago.
She said in a note that Hkeem showed her what love looks like.
"To my darling love…thank you for bringing me so much happiness, love, joy.
"Thank you for showing me what love looks like. Thank you for doing my hair and playing chess with me and buying me things (my favourite) I love you so."
