Personally, I see all the court injunctions as a means to derail President Ruto from delivering his promises to Kenyans.
The President has a well-thought-out manifesto whose rollout will transform the country.
One such project is the housing programme. This is a transformative project and if the President succeeds on this one, nobody would match his record.
In my constituency, for example, if affordable housing is realised it will have such a huge impact on the lives of my people.
Currently, we do not have any modern housing in Lamu East and this is one project that is going to redefine development in this area that has been marginalised for years.
It will be the first modern housing in my constituency and will be a history in the making.
This is the reason why his rivals always run to court to block some of these projects and programmes from taking off.
It is all politics at play so that his key projects do not see the light of the day. The critics know very well that the impact of such projects will be huge as they directly impact the lives of our people.
I am also of the opinion that we should allow leaders to roll out the projects they promised the people during campaigns.
The many court injunctions are doing a disservice to millions of Kenyans who are waiting for the projects like yesterday.
Even the transformation proposed in the health sector is going to save many Kenyans who are currently locked out of meaningful treatment.
Leaders should be given free will to implement their projects so that they can show the people what he or she has done at the end of their mandate.
These unnecessary court injunctions do happen even in our constituencies and they are really derailing progress.
All these court cases are just meant to prevent the President from transforming this country and it is high time we allow him to work for the people who elected him.
