Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru was re-elected as the Council of Governors (CoG) chairperson.
She was elected on Monday, during the elections for the Executive and Technical Committee in Nairobi after she had declared interest in defending her seat.
She is currently serving her second term as Governor.
Waiguru previously served as the Council's first female vice chairperson from December 2017 to January 2019.
