A first-term lawmaker from the former Nyanza province has triggered a buzz on social media and murmurs in his constituency. Reason? At the weekend, the legislator launched what appeared to a shack as the chief's office. The man, a well known professional, had built a tiny, square room house made of iron sheet walls and wooden door. He then posted himself on social media cutting a ribbon to signify the launch of the administrator’s ‘office.’ The man has been severely criticised online with some users asking why he opted to demean the chief.
