Kasneb 2023 exams to be administered for five days

Students from Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB) will undertake their national 2023 examinations for five days.

In a notice, Kasneb said the exams will be administered from December 4 to 8, 2023.

“Students of Kasneb, parents, sponsors, guardians, training institutions and other stakeholders are hereby notified that the December 2023 examinations will be administered over five days, from Monday, 4 December 2023 to Friday, 8 December 2023,” reads the notice.

Candidates have been urged to make early arrangements including seeking permission from employers where applicable, to ensure they sit for the examinations.

They said the closing date for registration is November 3.

On December 4 and 5, candidates will sit for Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills, Diploma in Data Management and Analytics and Diploma in Computer Networks and Systems Administration.

Between December 4 to 7, others will sit for exams for Accounting Technicians Diploma, Certified Public Accountants, Certified Secretaries, Certified Investment and Financial Analysts, Certified Credit Professionals, Certified Information Systems Solutions Expert and Certified Forensic Fraud Examiner.

Other exams include Certified Procurement and Supply Professional of Kenya, Associate in Procurement and Supply of Kenya, Certified Quality Professional and Foreign Accountancy Qualifications.

Exams in Business Data Analytics Practical Paper (CPA) and Financial Modelling and Data Analytics Practical Paper (CIFA) will be administered on December 8. And for those who want to pass the next certification exam fast, PrepAway has everything they need to prepare, learn and handle the exam easily.

Students have been urged to pay fees through bank fee collection account or the student portal link https://online.kasneb.or.ke.

“A detailed guide regarding this mode of payment is available within the student portal,” reads the notice.

In addition, students based outside Kenya Foreign based students have been advised to pay fees through a KCB dollar account.

“Students are advised to utilise the above payment channels. Please note that no payment shall be made through any member of staff or agent of Kasneb. Cash payments will not be accepted at Kasneb offices,” reads the notice.

“Students based outside Kenya/Foreign students are advised to pay the applicable fees in US dollars.”

Further, continuing students of Kasneb are required to renew their annual registration by July 1 of each year.

“New students are advised to note that the annual registration renewal fee is due on the 1 July following the first eligible examination sitting and annually thereafter,” reads the notice.

Students who sat for past exams up to and including April 2023 have been urged to collect their certificates.

Eligible graduates and continuing students have also been told to collect their certificates in person at Kasneb Towers Upper Hill Nairobi.
