The arrest of cult leader Paul Mackenzie on April 15 this year and subsequent arrests of his wife Rhoda Maweu and 27 others of his associates saved the lives of more than 100 people, the state has said.
The government has 112 people believed to be Mackenzie’s followers in custody.
