Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has promised to walk by Felix Orinda aka DJ Evolve in his journey to recovery.
Speaking at Milimani Law Courts after he was acquitted of the charges of misuse of firearm on Tuesday, Owino said he was planning on paying for the DJ's further treatment overseas.
"I will walk by DJ Evolve. I will always be there for him. I'm planning to take him to India for further treatment," he said.
The MP further said he hoped that the DJ recovered fully, saying he will count it as victory to see him well.
"I pray to the Almighty God to grant him spiritual and physical strength," he added.
Babu Owino has been paying for DJ Evolve's hospital bills and other bills, using more than Sh58.6 million.
DJ Evolve was injured in a shooting incident at a Nairobi club on January 17, 2020.
