Kajiado Governor Joseph Lenku on Wednesday reshuffled and reassigned 11 chief officers in a bid to improve service delivery.
Some of those who moved to new departments were sworn in on Monday.
In the new changes, Lenku dropped Jonathan Kulei from Medical Services and replaced him with Kipapei Pelo.
Governor Lenku reassigned his old ally, Sankaire Tima, back to the governor’s delivery unit.
Naomi Parinkoi, in the new changes, takes over the county public service while Wilson Tinkoi takes over the county public health.
Juliua Marao is the new physical planning chief officer, while Douglas Konana moved to agriculture.
Francis Metian is the new livestock chief officer, while Jacqueline Mwaniki moved to vocational training and sports.
Former high school principal James Ngugi is the new environment chief officer, while former MCA Julius Moipaai takes over as administration and enforcement chief officer.
Peter Nzuki is the new public works chief officer. Lenku said the changes take effect immediately.
