Making your arrowroot bhajia from basic ingredients is easily achievable in your kitchen.
To prepare arrow root bhajia, you are required to have these ingredients.
Ingredients
- 10 pieces arrowroot leaves
- Two cups of gram flour
- Salt
- Half a teaspoon of red chilli powder
- One teaspoon of garlic powder and garlic paste
- Turmeric powder
- Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Wash the leaves properly and remove all the veins then roll them with a rolling pin.
Step 2
Mix all the ingredients together and make the paste then apply it to the leaf.
Step 3
Put another leaf and do the same for like five leaves then roll them.
Step 4
If the leaves are too big cut the roll into two.
Put water in the sufuria then put a sieve to hold the rolls.
Step 5
Cover the sufuria properly so that the steam doesn’t come out. Once steamed remove from the sufuria and cut them into slices.
Put oil in the frying pan then shallow fry them.
Step 6
When ready, serve with a beverage or any soft drink of your choice.
