Controversial preacher Paul Mackenzie and 28 other co-accused individuals, will on Tuesday return to Shanzu Court after spending two months in custody.

The State is expected to give an update on the status of investigations into the deaths of over 400 people, who have been exhumed from the Shakahola forest. 

Last month, the Shanzu court released Mackenzie’s wife Rhoda Maweu on Sh400,000 bond. However, she is also expected back in court today.

Cabinet Secretaries to sign performance contracts 

Cabinet Secretaries will on Tuesday sign performance contracts in a ceremony to be witnessed over by President William Ruto.

The signing of the agreement is a commitment by the CSs to deliver on their priorities as captured in the Plan.

CSs will now be tasked with facilitating government programs, policies and delivering services to the citizenry on a value-for-money basis.

Akombe remembers slain Msando on his 6th anniversary

Former IEBC Commissioner Roselyn Akombe has continued to express optimism that justice will be served over the murder of Chris Msando.

Msando, the former electoral commission's IT manager, went missing exactly six years ago today on Friday, July 28, 2017.

His body was found four days later in a thicket in Kikuyu alongside the remains of a young lady who was later identified as Carol Ngumbu.

Kenyatta family to meet in London over political, business environment

A section of the family members of the former president President Uhuru Kenyatta plans to travel to London for a meeting on various issues.

Sources aware of the plans said the family members will meet and discuss "the current political and business environment" in the country and decide the way forward

Kenya Kwanza to unveil its dialogue team with Azimio

President William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza camp is on Tuesday expected to unveil its five picks to the 10-member dialogue team with the opposition.

The Star understands that the President held talks with his deputy Rigathi Gachagua on Monday to agree on the list before it is made public.
