It's never a dull moment when Azimio la Umoja coalition supporters hold country-wide protests.
On Wednesday, operations in some counties and cities were at a standstill as Azimio supporters honoured the call by opposition chief Raila Odinga to hold demos.
According to Azimio, the protests are meant to push the government to lower the high cost of living and abolish the new taxes under the Finance Act, 2023, which was assented to by President William Ruto last month.
Despite police presence and tear gas, some protesters took a break and shared some exciting moments amidst the menace.
In Nanyuki, striking matatu operators(men and women) were seen skipping ropes games and playing football at the bus park as operations came to a standstill.

In Nyeri town, the situation was no different as football and skipping rope games were the order of the day.
In Kisumu, protesters carried a coffin painted in UDA party colours written 'primitive,' you want to kill your father!
Football-playing protesters were also witnessed along the Kisumu-Kakamega road, complete with a referee.
Kisii and Nyamira residents were not left behind as the youths collected all the tear gas cans used by police.
In Kakamega town, some protesters danced along to famous campaign songs as their counterparts in Machakos pulled down the Expressway barrier near Mlolongo as others were jumping and shouting.
