Azimio boss Raila Odinga has announced that they have collected 1.2 million signatures since last Friday.

Raila said that the launch of the digital platform to collect signatures online on Tuesday is part of his elaborate campaign to force the Kenya Kwanza administration to listen to Kenyans.

"A total of 1.2 million signatures have been collected as of today," Raila said at the Kalonzo Musyoka Command Centre on Tuesday.

The Orange Democratic Movement leader said the actions are meant to compel the Ruto regime to address fundamental issues raised including recruitment of electoral commissioners and audit of the servers.

Saying that Kenyans have an option of doing the manual signing or going digital, Raila said critics will not understand.

He warned that those critical of the legitimacy of the signatures do not comprehend the strength of the people when they come together.

"We don't expect them to understand, they don't understand the people's power as of now, but with time they will understand," Raila said.

Saying they will hold state officers who breach the law in handling peaceful protesters through so excessive force, Raila said the Wednesday rally at Kamukunji will go on with 'more greater numbers untill Ruto listens and respects Kenyans."

"There will be many Kamukunjis everywhere and anywhere,'' Raila said asking his people to stand together and get united.
