Lucy Mwangi, Waithera’s mother sees Cakkido being a successful platform that curates content to help cancer patients to improve their mental state.

“As a mother, I stand beside and behind her. Just like a newborn, we will safeguard and nurture this idea to maturity,” Mwangi said.

“This app that will focus only on the mental wellness of children suffering from cancer is just but the beginning.”

She encouraged mothers to fully support and believe in their children to participate in symposiums and challenges regardless of their age.

“Pitching my idea is a great start as I have been approached by potential sponsors. I believe that the only person who can limit you is you,” Waithera said.
