Sweet potatoes are a common carbohydrate-rich food popular in most parts of Africa. Most people use them for breakfast.
Apart from boiling, sweet potatoes one can make several dishes like glazed, coated sweet potatoes and sweet potatoes crisps.
Today, we take a look at how you can change your boiled sweet potatoes to glazed sweet potatoes.
Ingredients
- Two medium sweet potatoes
- Water
- Cooking fat
Process
Step 1
Wash the sweet potatoes and boil them with enough water until they are soft .
Step 2
Peel the outer skin of the potatoes and cut them into smaller pieces of one or two centimeters thick.
Step 3
Heat a little oil on a clean pan and shallow fry the slices until golden brown .
Serve in a clean bowl and enjoy when still hot.
