Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa has suspended Housing and Urban Development Chief Officer Patrick Butichi and appointed Faith Gitira in the post with immediate effect.
In an internal memo dated May 30, the county boss has also reorganised his Cabinet "in order to ensure effective service delivery".
Peninah Mukabane of Lands, Housing and Physical Planning was reorganised with Miriam Barasa of Water, Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change.
Economic Planning and Investment Chief Officer David Musafiri has been moved to the Lands, Administration, Survey and Physical Planning while June Mwajuma has been transferred from Finance to Finance and Budget.
Meanwhile, Samson Otieno has been named the new Chief officer, of Economic Planning and Investment from Budget and Water Development.
ICT Chief Officer Phanuel Musasia has been moved to ICT and Government while Joseph Lutilo, Chief Officer in charge of E-Government and Communication has been moved to Communication.
"Please accord them the necessary cooperation to deliver in their new assignments. These changes take effect immediately," Governor Barasa said.
