Former Bumula MP Bifwoli Wakoli claimed President William Ruto and Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga are hoodwinking Kenyans.

In an interview with the press on Thursday, Wakoli said Raila-led anti-government protests have cost the lives of many people.

Wakoli said that the protests affected business, transportation and education in the affected counties.

However, the former lawmaker called on the Kenyans not to follow President Ruto and Raila’s conflicts arguing that they are aware of what they are doing.

“These people are just fooling you, don’t fall prey to their conflicts, they know one another well and they even talk,” Wakoli said.

Wakoli said that within a period of three to four months, the duo will tie together and work.

“If you can all remember the 2017 politics, former president Uhuru Kenyatta stood firm and said that he won’t work with Raila but in the end, they shook hands, therefore let not Ruto and Raila lie to you,” he said.

Wakoli said that campaigns ended and it is time for the Kenya Kwanza government to deliver on what they pledged to Kenyans.

“There are many things that Ruto promised to work on once sworn in as the President, we want to see his promises fulfilled," he said.
