Four family members were on Tuesday afternoon shot dead by unknown assailants along Badasa-Songa road near Midrock area.
The victims were a man, his wife, a child and a male relative.
Two others also escape death and were taken to Marsabit Referral Hospital for medication.
The latest incidents bring the number of people killed to seven in a week.
On Monday last week, a 38 year-old-woman was killed near Bank-quarters while a bodaboda rider who was carrying the deceased sustained a serious bullet wound on his leg.
A day later a 70-year-old man and a security guard were also killed in Marsabit town.
The killings have sparked outrage across the constituency with many calling for justice and accountability for the perpetrators of the attack and urged the government to take action to protect its citizens.
County commissioner Nobert Komora assured the residents of security, adding that those found causing insecurity will face the law.
Marsabit leaders led by Governor Mohamud Ali on Tuesday condemned the rising insecurity in Saku constituency after four people were killed by unknown gunmen.
The governor called on the security agencies to be proactive to quell insecurity challenges, describing it as heartless and barbaric.
He urged leaders to unite to end insecurity that has earned the county a bad name for years, frustrating development and peaceful coexistence.
"I condemn the senseless killing of four people. The latest act of violence is deeply concerning and I extend my sincere condolences to the families of the victims," Mohamud said.
The county boss said it is distressing to see the new episode of violence that began a week ago is now spiralling out of control, threatening the peace that has been enjoyed in Marsabit.
He called on the security apparatus to get to the bottom of the matter and ensure that the perpetrators face the full force of the justice system.
"We cannot allow violence to become the norm in our society. We must work together to ensure peace and stability are maintained," he said
The governor said his administration will continue to support the efforts of the security apparatus and community elders in peace initiatives.
Mohamud urged residents to report criminals to help security agencies maintain law and order, saying hiding criminals will seriously curtail efforts to improve security.
He asked residents to cooperate with law enforcement officers to foster peace and development.
Saku MP Dido Ali Raso condoled with families that lost their loved ones and called on security agencies to act faster and restore sanity in the constituency.
He said the time has come for security officers to carry out a crackdown on criminals, arrest them and subject them to the rule of law.
"We want the government to make sure the lives and property of the residents are protected," he said
Raso said we cannot have a situation where a few criminals are having a field day and making the lives of our people extremely difficult.
He called for increased police patrols, noting that it will go a long way in improving security, urging residents to volunteer information to security agencies.
"I want to tell our people that you equally have a role to play in ensuring the much-needed peace and security is achieved by reporting suspicious characters to the police," he said
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki will today visit the constituency for a meeting with the county's security team.
