Kenyans react to Larry Madowo's 'return' to BBC

He left BBC in May 2021.

On Wednesday morning, CNN International correspondent Larry Madowo treated his social media followers to a picture of himself at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).

This was the first time Madowo was back at the BBC since he left about two years ago. He left BBC in May 2021.

He had returned to discuss the ongoing fighting in Sudan on one of BBC's podcasts. 

He went on to caption the photo with the words, "Is it cheating if your ex takes you back for one day and your current agrees? I was on the BBC for the first time since I left 2 years ago."

Madowo joined the BBC from NTV in 2018, when he took the post of Business Editor for Africa.

He later took a sabbatical to study for his Masters degree at Columbia University in the United States.

Madowo then briefly worked as the British Broadcaster's North America correspondent, where he covered the 2020 US presidential election before he moved to CNN.
