Pastor Paul Mackenzie who is at the center of suspected cultic teachings that have seen dozens of followers starve to death has warned Kenyans against prying into his church's operations.
In a video seen by the Star, Mackenzie issued the warning while in a police car shortly after he was arrested on April 15.
He is heard in the video warning police and people who had gathered around the police car not to look into the matter because it will come to haunt them.
"Mnachopigana nacho hamkijui na kitawaramba, kitawaramba nawaambia," he said.
(You don't know what you are fighting with, it will haunt you I tell you).
Mackenzie is suspected of indoctrinating followers of his Good News International Church into fasting to death with the belief of ascending to heaven.
As at Tuesday midday, detectives had exhumed 90 bodies at his 800-acre piece of land in Shakahola forest, Kilifi County.
The bodies were exhumed from shallow graves where they are believed to have been buried after their death.
Thirty two people have so far been rescued alive at the horrific mass grave.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki toured the area and termed the deaths an act of genocide. He declared the area a crime scene.
Kindiki who was accompanied by other national government officials and county government officials led by Kilifi Deputy Governor Flora Chibule said controversial pastor Paul Mackenzie deserves to rot in jail.
He said as from Wednesday, the exhumation will be done by a multi-agency team led by security personnel and humanitarian organisations.
The Kenya Red Cross Society said some 213 people who are linked to the controversial Kilifi pastor are missing.
Of the 213 individuals, 112 are aged below 18 years.
The farm is located in the Shakahola forest in Kilifi County
