Azimio leader Raila Odinga now says Monday's demonstrations will not be the end of mass action.

In a interview on Citizen TV aired on Saturday, Raila said they will continue with street protests en masse until all their grievances are addressed by the Kenya Kwanza government.

"These are sensitive issues, we will continue until they resolve our issues," he said.

"Mpaka tupate suluhu ya kudumu, na hii kitu haitamalizika siku ya jumatatu. Itaendelea kwa njia ingine na ingine mpaka madai yetu yatimizwe," he added.

Monday's protests are aimed at mounting pressure on the Kenya Kwanza government to address various concerns including lowering the cost of living.

Azimio is also pushing for an all inclusive selection process for new IEBC commissioners having rejected the process applied to select the selection panel as one sided.

Other grievances raised by the Raila-led outfit including accusations against President William Ruto for "creating unconstitutional and unnecessary offices to reward cronies.

Raila and his team also want the Ruto regime to remove punitive taxes, open IEBC servers to confirm election results and re-introduce food and fuel subsidies.
