Raila has called on his supporters to assemble in Nairobi on March 20 for what is billed as a dare-devil rally to reclaim his 'stolen victory'.

President William Ruto, who narrowly defeated Raila in last year's general election, has warned against chaotic protests and asked the opposition to work with the policy for the safety of Kenyans.

Raila's allies have lined up roadshows across the city estates on Saturday and Sunday to prepare the ground for the mega rally set to be attended by thousands of Azimio supporters.

The mobilisation rallies will be led by Azimio MPs in Nairobi and MCAs as well as grassroots leaders.

Azimio leadership has already given Members of Parliament a go-ahead to transport more supporters from rural areas for Raila's most consequential political move in recent history.

Details, although scanty, are filtering in on Azimio's Monday protest routes.

This as it emerged that Raila will on Monday lead a host of other Azimio bigwigs for a march from his Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation offices, through the streets before converging at Jeevanjee gardens.

It will be at Jeevanjee gardens that all the Azimio supporters will converge for speeches from their leaders before embarking on their march to the State House.

On Friday, Azimio MPs are expected to issue a public notice on the estates they will tour over the weekend to mobilise supporters for Monday's mass action.

Nairobi senator Edwin Sifuna told the Star that all Azimio affiliate parties will hold a meeting with grassroots leaders at the JOOF where they will issue the roadmap.

"We have called a meeting with grassroots leaders at 2 pm before issuing a statement," Sifuna said.

Sifuna who is also the ODM Secretary General said Monday's march to State House is on course.

Meanwhile, Raila will storm Ruto's Kiambu backyard on Friday of his final Azimio public baraza before retreating to plan for Monday.
