"Huyo mzee ni sisi na yeye. Huyo mzee amesumbua Kenya for the last 60 years wakiwa na baba yake, wakati ya kumalizana na huyo mtu ni sasa, na ataenda akiendanga,"Gachagua said.

This is translated into: "We shall face that Mzee. That Mzee has troubled Kenya for the last 60 years together with his father, the time to finish with him is now, he will go for good."

Gachagua wondered why Raila kept quiet against the high cost of living during the tenure of his handshake with retired President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The DP claimed that unlike now when the government has lowered the cost of living, Raila did not call for demonstrations during Uhuru's tenure.

"When fertiliser was at Sh7500, he did not call for protests, now the price has been lowered to Sh3,500 he is calling for demonstrations," Gachagua said.

"When he was working with Uhuru Kenyatta", as his advisor, the cost of cooking flour was Sh250 and yet he did not say a word or call for protests. Now that we have managed to lower that to as low as Sh170, he is calling for street demonstrations."

Raila has asked thousands of his supporters to congregate in Nairobi for what he has termed as the 'mother'' of all demonstrations to State House.

The Azimio leader, who lost to Ruto in last year's presidential election, has piled pressure on the Kenya Kwanza government insisting that it must lower the cost of living.

The opposition leader also wants Ruto to allegedly open the election servers to which the President has said he has no such powers under the Constitution.
