Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has explained why the Kenya Kwanza administration will not engage in any dialogue with the opposition.

Speaking on Thursday, the lawmaker alleged that the Azimio la Umoja One coalition is the pioneer of lawlessness.

"There is no room for dialogue between Azimio-Oka and President William Ruto because they are architects of economic saboteurs, anarchy and lawlessness," Cherargei said.

The UDA senator also insisted that President William Ruto cannot be blackmailed.

Cherargei said nothing from the Raila Odinga-led coalition will stop  Ruto from fixing the country.

"H.E Ruto is fully and absolutely in charge of the country no blackmail nor intimidation shall prevent the fixing of the economy and transformation," Cherargei said.

Wading into the ongoing protests, the senator said that opposition leader Raila Odinga should bear the cost of any destruction of properties where the events will be violent.

"The loss of property or lives through Maandamos Tinga should bear the full costs of the destruction if the demos aren't peaceful!" Cherargei said.

On Wednesday, President Ruto said Raila needed to assure Kenyans that his mega demo on Monday will not be chaotic.

"Kenyans have the right to protest but must do so peacefully and within the law. Odinga has been holding bloody and chaotic demonstrations for the last 50 years; he needs to assure Kenyans that this will be different, " Ruto said.

"This is why we’ve told Raila Odinga to sit down with police and explain to them how the demonstrations will be peaceful."
