The office of Prime CS Spouse: What to expect after launch

The government is set to launch the office of Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi's spouse, Tessie Musalia Mudavadi.

Mudavadi is expected to grace the launch as the special guest among other leaders.

The office will complement the work done by First Lady Rachael Ruto and DP's spouse Pastor Dorcas Rigathi.

Through the office of the Prime CS spouse, Tessie will help to advance causes relating to persons living with disabilities and the elderly.

She will also help with maternal and child health, environment, health and sanitation.

In a statement, Tessie said that she is committed to promoting the well-being of the nation's citizens, especially children and families.

She said that the scheduled launch will not only introduce the office but, showcase the recent efforts and present future plans.

This is a new office, which according to the communications director, was established by the government. 

First Lady Rachel has been undertaking several projects, the latest being the launching of a sanitary towels factory on February 9 named Sifa Pad and Praise Project.

The project is an initiative of the Kenya Assemblies of God Church and World Serve International Kenya 

The sanitary pad factory has been set up with the assistance of Hands of Hope—Joyce Meyer Ministry World Missions.

Second Lady Dorcas Gachagua has also been working on projects, calling on the youth to embrace change and work together in the fight against drug abuse.
