Ruto attends mini-summit on DRC peace, security in Ethiopia

President William Ruto on Friday attended the peace and security for Eastern region Democratic Republic of Congo mini-summit in Addis Ababa Ethiopia.

Ruto is among the African Union Heads of State and Government Summit in Ethiopia.

The President is currently in Ethiopia for the 36th Ordinary Session of the African Union Heads of State and Government Summit. 

The meeting which began on February 17 will end on 19.

Ruto will join other regional leaders for discussions aimed at fast-tracking Intra-Trade in Africa.

This is through the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) framework.

The President is expected to advocate for the continent's potential to lead the world.
