President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will on Monday head to Kiambu county for the burial service of Pauline Nyokabi Kuria, Trade CS Moses Kuria's sister.
The burial will be in Gatundu South, which is also the rural home to retired President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The last time Ruto was in Gatundu was during the pre-August 2022 elections.
Nyokabi Kuria died on January 13 at the Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital.
She is survived by one daughter Tracy Mwihaki.
The family have been holding funeral arrangements and prayers at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi.
Immediately after the news of her passing was made public, several leaders led by Ruto and friends of CS Kuria mourned her.
