Man kills two children in Kisii, motive unknown

Police in Nyamache, Kisii have begun investigations into the Friday morning killing of two children by a man suspected to be their father.

Subcounty police commander Kemboi Kipkulei said detectives have already been deployed to the Kiobegi area, where the bizarre incident occurred.

"All I can say for now is that we have sent officers to the scene and will shed more light once we arrive there," he told the Star by phone.

The mother of the children was said to be at the farm when the man committed the heinous act.

The motive is yet to be unraveled.
