Aden Duale has been representing the constituency since 2007.
It is the largest of the six constituencies in terms of registered voters.

It is highly cosmopolitan with a high concentration of diaspora voters.
It has four wards; namely, Waberi (11,657), Galbet (16,698), Township (13,419) and Iftin (11,479).
