President William Ruto on Sunday afternoon treated himself to lunch at Qaffe Point in Mombasa.
Ruto was accompanied by First Lady Rachel and Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir among other leaders.
Qaffe Point is a coffee shop and restaurant that offers a wide variety of menus.
Ruto had earlier joined other Kenyans for a prayer service to usher in the New Year at State House, Mombasa.
The President used to opportunity to call on the civil servants to serve all Kenyans equally irrespective of their political affiliations.
He said he will work together with all leaders, elected at all levels, to advance the development agenda of the country.
