"This is an appreciation of the potential of the digital space and Kenya’s skilled human capital."

Speaking on Monday during Jamhuri Day celebrations, Ruto reaffirmed the government’s commitment to digitise all its services.

Ruto said his administration plans to build 100,000 kilometres of superhighway of internet across cities, towns and across the country to make this a reality.

The head of state said, at the moment, only 15 per cent of services were being offered digitally with the remainder set to be realised soon.
