Police on Monday arrested one person suspected of transporting a consignment of 250 litres of ethanol estimated to cost six million.
Police from Kapenguria intercepted the suspect along Kacheliba- Makutano road.
In a statement on Tuesday, National Police Service said that they suspect the ethanol was smuggled into the country.
"The successful seizure and subsequent arrest of one male adult are attributed to the collaboration between NPS and Kenya Revenue Authority," the statement read.
