Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has warned President William Ruto that the Azimio coalition will not entertain any form of rigging in the 2027 General Election.
Kalonzo was talking in reference to the four IEBC commissioners who were to be ousted, with two having resigned from their positions.
Vice chairperson Juliana Cherera and Justus Nyang'aya resigned on Monday and Friday, respectively.
"No one who wants to be a candidate in 2027 has permission to dismiss the IEBC four, we will not allow Ruto to misuse his powers," he said.
Kalonzo also said they will hold their Kamukunji rallies as it is their constitutional right.
"We will still go to Kamukunji on Wednesday, and we mean well for this country. We are basically saying please do not pre-rig the 2027 General Election," he said.
"We love this nation and we know Kenyans will continue to hold dear the provisions of the 2010 constitution."
Kalonzo said this is not the time to send the four commissioners home.
"Justice must be seen and this is basic, justice must not only be done but it must manifestly be seen to be done in the case of Cherera and her fellow commissions," he said.
He added they will form a serious opposition to continue keeping the government in check.
"Guided by the rule of Law, we are ready and we are even ready to help Ruto where he needs help," he said
