Police in Molo Nakuru county are looking for a man who allegedly killed his girlfriend in cold blood before escaping.

The DCI says Moses Njeri is believed to have stabbed 28-year-old girlfriend Hannah Ndirangu in the chest during a heated argument over an unspecified issue.

"The suspect is believed to have escaped through the opening of the house," DCI boss Mohamed Amin said in a statement.

He said the woman’s neighbours at Tayari farm were the first to stumble on the deceased’s lifeless body after gaining access to her wooden house through an opening in one of the walls.
