Suspected muggers found with sharp objects arrested

Police have arrested three suspected muggers in Muthaiga, Thika Road.

According to a police report, the three suspects were riding a motorcycle along Thika Road.

Police identified the three suspects as Vincent Ndiritu, Kelvin Maina and Daniel Mwangi, all aged between 20-25.

"After a quick search they were found with two sharp knives, sharp spoons and pointed metal of about 15 cm. The motorbike had no insurance and the rider did not have a driving licence," the report reads.

According to the report, the three suspects did not have protective gears.

They are currently in the police custody awaiting interrogation.

Others are ABC Place along Waiyaki Way and parts of CBD including River Road, Archives, Kirinyaga road and Fig Tree.

Police said the gangs are involved in a robbery with violence, carjacking, assaults, burglaries and murder.
