ODM leader Raila Odinga has yet again said he will drop his bombshell when the right time comes.

Raila who stated that they don't recognise the current government headed by President William Ruto said that a time will come when all the truth of what happened in the August 9, General elections will be unearthed.

"The truth will come out and they will regret it. For now, I will not speak, but what I am Assuring you is that there is no going back", he said.

He added:

" We know what happened. Even those propagating that I did not get votes from the mount. Those people voted for us and I know it. I know the work that was done there. They stood with us."

He was speaking during the burial of Mzee Nyangaga Akoth, a member of the Luo Council of Elders, on Saturday.

Raila also took a swipe at the current administration on the issues that people were being told that they should join the government to get or have development projects in their regions.

"We cannot be threatened to join the government, which government?" he questioned.

He said the constitution is very clear that we have two levels of government: that is the national and the county.

"If you are leading a county government. You are in government, which one again do they want you to get into?" Raila questioned.

He said counties get allocations from the national government because they have to be given as required by the law.

Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo noted that those joining the Kenya Kwanza Alliance are doing so for their own selfish gains and not for development.

"Why are they saying they are going there to bring development to the Regions? Those are people going there for their own selfish gains," he said.

He added that as a people, they will remain focused and die with Raila any day and anytime.

Nyakach MP Aduma Owuor noted that there is nobody that will divide the Luo nation.

Aduma said the people must be ready and committed to what's coming ahead.

He however cautioned those attacking and insulting Raila saying this should come to a stop.

"Instead of insulting Raila, you are free to insult me anyhow or way you want".

The ODM leader added that the national government has a responsibility to undertake projects across the entire country.

" Let no one tell you that if you want development you must join the government, which government is that? This is a right. You don't have to beg for development in your region, remember you are paying taxes," he said. "

He stressed the importance of ensuring that the politics of tribalism comes to an end.

He said it was important for all the people from the different regions to come together as one.

"Kenya will move forward if we come together as one," Raila said.

Siaya senator James Orengo also stressed that his president is Raila.

He called on the ODM party and Azimio fraternity to thank former President Uhuru Kenyatta for standing with them until now, saying it was time to call him back so that they can begin the journey.

"I Am ready to sacrifice and join other Kenyans to ensure that Raila becomes the President", he said adding that Kenyans should resist attempts to allow the country to return to a one-party state.
