Secretary to the Cabinet nominee Mercy Kiiru Wanjau, has said her net worth is Sh475 million.
Wanjau who appeared before the National Assembly Committee on appointments said this comprises land and buildings valued at Sh380.4 million.
"I also have shares, stocks and deposits at about Sh89 million, agriculture in the form of commercials largely farming of tress at Sh6 million and motor vehicles about Sh2 or 3 million shillings," she said.
Wanjau was the last CS nominated by President William Ruto to be vetted on Saturday. The vetting started on Monday, October 17, 2022.
She is set to replace Joseph Kinyua who has worked in an acting capacity since 2015 after Francis Kimemia resigned.
