President William Ruto has said Kenya is ready to partner with Jamaica in areas of mutual interest.
He made the statement after meeting with Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness during the UN General Assembly in New York to discuss the issues of interest in both countries.
The strategic issues include sports and tourism.
"Kenya looks forward to partnering and working with Jamaica in strategic areas of mutual interest such as tourism and sports for the economic development of the two countries," Ruto said.
The President, who is accompanied by First Lady Rachel, is in the US to attend the UN General Assembly.
