Swearing-in of MCAs at the Kisumu county assembly was temporary stopped for some 20 minutes after the MCAs engaged in shouting matches.

This is after the clerk Owen Ojuok stood to make a communication to the House.

He was interrupted by the MCAs who engaged in shouting matches, saying the clerk must stick to the order paper which was stating that the swearing-in was ongoing.

"We will not allow you people to destroy ODM. You must respect the party, let the clerk read out the communication," Market Milimani MCA Seth Kanga said.

Kano /Wawidhi MCA Moses Ochele told the clerk to stick to the order paper.

"You must continue with the order paper, we will not allow any communication," he said.
