Deputy President Rigathi Gachgaua has now taken over the Harambee Annex office that was previously occupied by President William Ruto.
Ruto served as Deputy President for 10 years before he was elected president in the August 9, polls.
The president will now move to Harambee House where his office is domiciled.
In a statement after settling into the office, Gachagua said he is ready to discharge his mandate as the second in command.
"We are now ready to work and change our country's trajectory towards recovery. I have settled at my new office at Harambee House Annex and it's all systems go," a statement on his Facebook page stated.
He at the same time thanked staff at the office of the Deputy President for giving him the requisite brief as he settles.
Gachagua also held a prayer session with religious leaders to kick start his journey.
"I thank the senior staff at the office of the Deputy President for the very exhaustive brief and the assurance of them being efficient in running the office and service delivery to the people of Kenya," he said.
He added:
"I thank our Bishops for taking time to bless the office and commit our work to God as I help President William Ruto in managing the affairs of our Great Nation."
Gachagua served as Mathira MP before he was elected Deputy President.
